I graduated from Mercer last May with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I spent the first half of my college career preparing myself for medical school and a career as a surgeon. However, when I began to focus on God’s purpose for me, I learned my calling was far from the operating table.
My calling is here, in ministry, and at Wesley. In my time as a student at Wesley, the relationships I formed allowed me space to heal, to grow, and to be reformed. As an associate, I look forward to being able to create this space for others through discipleship and teaching. Among my goals in discipleship, I aim to engage with students, especially the alienated and the hurting, and to do just as the bible says, “rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.”
