Wesley Leadership Retreat brings students together to dream and unite

This January in Eatonton, Georgia, fifteen Wesley staffers and student leaders got together at a quiet little lake house to pray, dream, bond, and plan for the future of Wesley of Macon.

There was a lot of laughter… A lot of worship… And by the end of the weekend, these students came out with a clear sense of who God is calling them to be on their college campuses. One of the passages the team rallied around was the opening of Ephesians 4: “live as people worthy of the call you received from God. Conduct yourselves with all humility, gentleness, and patience. Accept each other with love, and make an effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit with the peace that ties you together.”

Friend, keep praying for this team and for the work to which they have each been called. God is doing a mighty thing in and through these students for his kingdom! God is doing a beautiful thing here, in and through you and through this ministry. As this team pursues ministry at Wesley together, we invite you to pray that we all would live lives worthy of this calling… that we would conduct ourselves with humility, gentleness, and patience. Pray for our hearts, that we would accept each other with love… and pray that we would pursue the unity of the Spirit with the peace that ties us together. Amen.
